outrageous butch cousin Mary Clare. Their friend Polly is
arrested for murder and Marta uses her psychic insights to
discover the truth. Author Kate Allen's novels have the ability
to capture the current controversies in the lesbian community and
describe them with insight and humor. In this one she tackles the
issues of incest survival, abusive lesbian relationships, and

powerfully written, and more realistic than most mysteries,
lesbian or otherwise.
